“DKANDLE weaves swirling multi-colored vibrant unearthly soundscapes, blending fuzzy and reverberating Shoegaze textures, mesmerizing Dream Pop meditations, sludgy Grungey tones and moody Post-punk strains, heightened with soul-stirring lyricism and pensive emotive vocalizations”

What is your nickname and why?
I don't think I have any nickname that people use much with me.

What do you do for a living?
I work for Revista Domingo at Jornal do Brasil, and in my spare time, I run London Burning.

When was your last time having sex?
This morning.

Have you ever been in a police station?
Only to do stories when I worked for Globo.

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you'd do?
I'd take my girlfriend and travel for about 6 months. Then I'd come back, buy a nice house, and invite Teenage Fanclub to play at our wedding.

What is your religion?

Who is the sexiest person on this planet?
Without a doubt, my girlfriend, Clarisse De La Cerda.

Who deserves a punch?
A certain journalist from Rio Grande do Sul who keeps being a nuisance.

Do you believe in extraterrestrial life?
Of course. I've never seen it myself, but people close to me have seen UFOs.

What was the happiest moment of your life (so far, of course)?
Discovering that my soulmate really exists.

What's the best rumor you've ever heard about yourself?
The most absurd one was that I'm a pop star and that all indie girls want to sleep with me.

What's your favorite drug?

Your opinion on:
Dance music -
It can be cool, it can be bad. It depends on what you're listening to.

Payola - Unfortunately, it's necessary to keep the system running.

Free Jazz Festival - A lot of money spent on superfluous things when it could have a much better lineup.

London - My second home.

Kurt Cobain & Nirvana - Rock was only played on the radio and TV in the '90s thanks to Nirvana.

Transsexuals - I don't know any personally, but I think we need to respect all sexual orientations.

Big Brother - Sometimes funny, most times boring.

Indie rock - A genre created to lump almost everything I like under one label.

MP3 - A revolutionary tool when used properly.

Brazilian underground - One of the best in the world.

- Have you ever tried mushroom?
I haven't tried it so far.

- What do you think will happen to the planet in the coming years?
The heat will increase.
